OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50. BECAUSE THE SERVICE IS FREE, THIS TYPICALLY MEANS OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO USD $50.
