How Our Tools Work

Nearly every tool on Onbox Tools uses client-side JavaScript to process your input directly in your browser. When you format JSON, compress a PDF, convert an image, or generate a password, that work happens on your machine — not on our servers. We do not store the content you paste or the files you open in our tools.

Because processing is local, many tools continue to work after the page has loaded, even if your internet connection drops. No registration is required: open a tool and start working immediately.
